Sundays at AUMC

There's something here for YOU!

Sunday Morning Worship

We gather at 11 am each Sunday for worship. Built in the 1920s, our Sanctuary features four stunning stained glass windows and a semi-circle pew arrangement with two aisles.

If you join us, you can expect many elements of traditional worship, such as hymns and creeds. Each week we spend time in prayer and reading Scripture. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, and all are welcome to receive it.

Regular attenders come both “dressed up” and “dressed down,” so please come dressed however you are most comfortable.

Rev. Mary’s sermons start with Scripture and often include storytelling, object lessons, and interaction

For the Children

Children are a wonderful part of Sunday mornings at Andrews UMC!

A nursery is available on the second floor of the Family Life Center for ages 0 to 3. Our nursery worker provides professional and consistent care for our little ones each week. Parents may also feel free to bring their children to worship, if they prefer.

Children regularly participate in worship as ushers, acolytes, and cross-bearers. Trainings are offered periodically. Any children interested are encouraged to ask!

The Children’s Sermon is a short lesson just for the children during worship each week.

Pew Projects are always located on the front pew for any children who might enjoy them.

On Communion Sundays – the first Sunday of the month – we do things a little bit differently. We want our kids to be able to participate in Communion, so there is no Children’s Church. There is also no Children’s Sermon due to a change in schedule.
