Children and Youth

A Place to Grow!

Children at Andrews United Methodist Church

Andrews United Methodist welcomes children with open hearts and arms.

Our Sunday School is taught by dedicated volunteers.  Children are separated into two classes by age group and learn the stories of the Bible through Word, crafts and other activities.

Our Nursery is fully staffed with a paid worker and volunteers.  Together they provide a loving and nurturing atmosphere for children and help make the Christian faith meaningful to all God’s Children.

Wonderful Wednesdays meets Wednesdays from 3-5 pm.  Each week after school we pick up children from Andrews Elementary to explore our faith through art, cooking, recreation and service projects.

Youth at Andrews United Methodist Church

The Youth at Andrews United Methodist are fully engaged in the life of the congregation.  Sunday School, Youth Group, service opportunities and field trips allow our youth to deepen their faith in a safe and welcoming Christian environment.

The Youth Group for students in Grades 5 and up meets from 5-7pm on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month and on other special occasions as we grow into the Body of Christ.

Based on our Safe Sanctuaries Policies, anyone who wishes to teach or help with the Children or Youth at Andrews United Methodist Church must consistently participate in the life of the church for at least 6 months and be subject to a background check.
